Wild and Crazy!!!

So I have been really neglecting tangent, so much so that I found something that I never in my craziest thoughts were happening...

I had planted radish some time ago, right!? Well, I thought I would let it stay there and go to seed... HA HA HA!!

Look at what grew in a most untouched development! LOL!!

What you see, my friends, are the remains of Overgrown Radish... They are so large that, they fit in the palm of my hand...
Well, they can't be eaten, and I thought that going to seed would be a good idea, but well I got some but I'm not sure if the seeds are viable oh well as it goes don't know if you don't try.

Remnants of Christmas

Rylee, my beautiful youngest, had the most wonderful thought!

You know how building a gingerbread house or town is in keeping with the time of holiday feel... Well,
I knew it would never get totally finished, she is of my genes, finish nothing and start something...

Here is a start of a beautiful little town.. So cute and wish to see it at a completed stage, I get the glimpse of ....

                               Yes!!!, The Tangent Town...

 Resiliency

You know admiration exists in many different forms, and in this particular form the bountiful and glorious giving that this plant did and does and has been doing... gets countless praises from me...

May I say if there is a plant that ever has worked harder, it would get the prize of the century...

            The elegant (drummmm rooolllll!!).....

                       Eggplant!!!!!

It was touched by frost sometime ago, but comes out of it fightin', cuz look!!! It is still putting out produce!!!

     How incredible is that!!!

Runner up would be my Jalapeno pepper plant...

After it fell over and plucking off the peppers, get touched by frost, it stills wants to live...

I can say happiness is... knowing that something was done right, to be blessed with such

          RESILIENCY!!!

Seed anticipation...

So, as Tangent starts to dry out, I heard on the news we will get more rain this week-end.. Yay! but, Boo! because I need to get out there and see what in the world is going on out there..

My poor Tangent is so neglected, It is screaming at me. What in the world are you waiting for? I'm tired of looking like three sheets to the wind...  In total state of submission, but still, unable to do anything,
Guess What Came in my anticipation!!!????

Well, as the clock tic-tocs, I just received a really great seed catalog in the mail.  The Cook's Garden.  I don't know if anyone knows about this place or website etc.. But it has the most amazing pictures,  I have a freak-in' list a page long of wants from them.  Of course, I haven't the yard to plant each and every want. But I am sure giddy with the thought of it...

One particular type of seed I want to get and experiment with is,,,,  Nigella- Chocolate Sundae... These flowers are so intriguing, They have white blooms with a dark burst in the center... They look kind of antique like... It gives me the impression that they will grow in my Map Zone...  but so has other things, and I wasn't successful,

but, Who am I to not try? Right?  When I get a chance I am ordering up these seeds and hope to get them for spring...

Tis the Season

Shopping has been in my world lately, and well let me just say it isn't my favorite... especially, this time of year... I am trying to be in good spirits, but it is a fight to have a merry sole, when people cut you off in traffic or get mad because they think you are cutting in lines to cashing out... and grab things almost out of your hands...
But, with the knowledge of being with my family and friends on the day of such a joyous occasion, I am surely not going to let things like that get in my way!!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

 My Girls...

Peanut was spayed on Tuesday of this week, my poor little girl, I dropped her off and and felt as though I was abandoning her to these conveyor belts of procedures, It was a mobile mash unit for animals and our local rabies control (pound) place of sadness...

When I picked her up she was in a crazed state of mind, from the anesthesia, Her head was bobbing and twitching and I was a freaked mommy...  I immediately took her to my trusted vet... They reassured me and caught a little bit of a mess up on the meds... Thank goodness...

She is well and happy and on her way to recovery...

 But guess what???

We totally inherited, a new outside member to the family,  We have, may I introduce to you, Nuggets (aka- Adolf).. We call him such a name for this reason,  When you look at him from a bit of a distance, He has a mustache like the man himself,  He has a disposition as such tooo!

He is fat and happy but he has to stay outside and that upsets me, but I can't have him pee all over either...

I'm in hopes that if he sticks around long enough, that... I will accumulate enough money to break the cycle of baby make-in (neuter him)... and it's crazy too, that Peanut resembles him somewhat too... I may have the daddy or a distance relative of hers outside, ha ha ha!!!

Well  Happy Holidays to everyone  and I so hope that your Year to come is   of  a  Grand Scale!!!
